On plan again today, as I was yesterday. Feeling a little better mentally about it. Tomorrow is weigh in day, and I expect to post a gain. I am saying that now so that I won't be bummed tomorrow LOL!
My mother asked me for tips on strength training, so I've been doing some reading and such to offer advice. Nothing like a non-professional giving advice! She is going to come over and use the bowflex, so I will help her with form and such.
I tried a 1 minute muffin recipe. I must share this with you, as I was totally fascinated by it.
1/4 cup flax meal
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
1-1/2 tsp oil
Mix and microwave for 1 minute. We used a silicon large muffin cup. This was just like a muffin! A bit bland, but John made some cream cheese frosting to put on top. I am going to experiment with subbing some canned pumpkin for the oil, and adding spices to see what happens.
