This week I made a breakthrough of sorts in my weight loss. I lost 2 pounds, for a total of 52.8 pounds gone.
I’m still struggling with working out now that school has started. I’m not able to go in the mornings anymore, since I get up at 5:45 just to get ready for school. After work, I’m so tired/hungry, that I don’t seem to have the energy to go and workout, and once I get home, eat, and relax a bit, I’m just not motivated to go to the gym.
So, I’m planning on taking LC’s advice and bringing my workout clothes with me to school so I can hit the gym right after, tired/hungry or not. To curb the hunger, I’m going to bring an extra snack with me, just for that extra fuel my body will need to complete the workout. Tomorrow night I have plans to go to yoga with BFF, which will be fun. I haven’t gone to yoga in SO long, and it will be nice to get back into it. Thursday I want to go to the gym on my own, and Friday I have plans to workout with DRMK. I’m hoping that by making plans to workout with my friends, it will get me back into the workout mode. It seems that once I get the routine down, I do well. It’s just starting back into the routine that’s been difficult.
Another thing I’m looking forward to this coming week is getting back on the Medifast food. I had run out of Medifast, but had some of my previous shakes from WMP of SF. The problem with those shakes is that they seem to constipate me. Without getting into TMI territory, it’s no fun not being regular, and it is definitely affecting my weight loss. My new shipment of Medifast arrived tonight, and I’m looking forward to starting in on it tomorrow. It just tastes better, seems to satisfy me more, and keeps my system more regular. All great things.
I’m hoping for great numbers next week, with my increase in exercise. My next big goal is to get below 200 pounds, which I’m hoping to do by Christmas. I have 27 pounds to go, and it’s 3 1/2 months to Christmas, so we’ll see how close I can get. Even if I don’t make it all the way, at least I can get really close. I’d love to be in “onederland” by the end of this year/beginning of the new year.
