Need to lose 20 pounds and flatten my belly, the top of my bell stick out

Well, one question I have is what timeframe are you looking to do this in?

Some things to keep in mind as you prepare yourself to reach your goals.  

-make sure you set yourself up to succeed:  don't expect to loose 20 and get hard core abs in a short period of time.  It's jut not possible.  However you can make significant improvements.

-evaluate your nutrition- what are you eating and when? what food items can you eliminate or replace with with healthier ones.  Go to your pantry and fridge and restock with only healthy foods - eliminate the temptation

-evaluate your fitness- you have to exercise, there's just no way around that.  What ever you're doing now may not be enough.  Add more cardio, add more weight training, include high intensity training

Fat is not only stored under the skin but also in the muscles and that is harder to burn.  You need work in your target zone for at least 20 minutes a day to target the fat that is deep within the muscles.  Running, walking, spinning are all great ways to hit the target zones.  Also weight training increases your metabolic rate therefore you will burn more when you are not doing anything.  I recommend cardio after weights to get the most out of your workouts.

The flat abs will come along as you adjust your diet and exercise.
