Welcome to our new fitness blog! My name is Brian and I’m a personal trainer. I started learning about fitness in earnest in order to get in shape and not waste any time in the gym doing inefficient things. As an infantry soldier and security contractor, lives (not the least of which, my own) could depend on my ability to perform in combat. Now that I’m home from a recent deployment to Afghanistan, I have to decided to use my fitness knowledge (and added to it by getting certified as a NASM-CPT ) to help others reach their fitness goals. This blog, along with our fitness and weight loss tips website, is an extension of what I am doing locally to help my clients get fit and healthy.
I am joined in this endeavor by my wife Rachel, who has a passion for helping women get fit and she will be posting her own tips and insights from time to time.
My tip for today is to just make one healthy change. If you normally take the elevator, take the stairs. Walk to the store down the street instead of driving. Skip dessert, or drink water today instead of sugary sodas. Just one small change is all it takes to get started on a healthier future. Check out this link for more weight loss tips.
