Overeating and Your Weight Loss Plan

Posted Oct 01 2009 10:45pm

by Maria's Last Diet

You overeat for good reason and it’s important to understand and validate your reasons. Overeating is an adaptive behavior rather than being only a pleasure-seeking or self-destructive behavior. Overeating is a relationship between you, the act of overeating, and the emotional experience that binds the two.

Because of this, your weight loss plan needs to be built around your very own personal emotional reasons for overeating. If your plan speaks to these personal reasons, you’ll feel that the plan you’ve created “understands” you. Feeling understood gives you both the weight loss support and the strength you need to break through your old weight loss obstacles.
