Post Workout Pain?

According to Prevention.com, a dose of caffeine before your workout can alleviate post workout pain by 50%!

They say:

"Drinkcoffee - "Caffeineblocks the action of adenosine, a pain-stimulating chemical found in most body tissues, including the muscles and brain." One study found that a dose ofcaffeinein pill form before a workout cut discomfort by about 50%, compared with a 10 to 30% reduction withNSAIDsin other research."

Interesting. So before a good workout, chomping on an apple or some other form of good carb with a latte could actually be the key to added energy and post workout pain relief. Sounds good to me, I'm always up for trying anything that could help with that!
