Thanks for all of your input in the Kimkins post from yesterday! It's reassuring to see that I'm not being an abnoxious loyal WWer to someone who has chosen another program and that my concerns are validated. Thank you everyone, sincerely.
One thing that I really try not to do is immediately disregard other weight loss plans out there and push WW onto people if they decide to try something else. My goal only is to be concerned for people who are not informed, or who are
mis informed, about the health aspects or consequences that go along with the weight loss program they choose. I DO have problems with a program that does not volunteer enough information and/or does not publicly represent whatever long term result(s) that the program has produced. One of the comments yesterday said that this "Kim" lady may have gained all the weight back since then but isn't showing her face! Sure you'll see the hundreds of testimonials after the 3 months it took the person to drop the weight and the occasional so-called claim of long term success, but seriously online you can make anything appear to be whatever you want. As far as I know, there's no
physical face to this Kimkins program.
I am even more worried about my friend, but she is the type of person that would not hear what I'm saying as anything more than "WW pushing" because that's the program I chose. She has said she "tried" WW and it didn't work for her because she felt like she "had to eat all of the time".....ahem! Ummmm, sorry dear friend, but if you do happen to read this, I do not find a criticism there, I find real life.
If people want my opinion about it, I have my own experiences with this program and all of your guys' input on your own experiences to draw from. If that's not enough, like I said before, I'll still be here when the time comes when common sense comes back into play - because it
will - It's
REAL life.
