Quick Weight Loss Tip, Just Add A Salad!

Losing weight can be really challenging if you are always fighting hunger cravings. We are all only strong and eventually will crack, often falling off of our diet plan long term and gaining even more weight. There is a simple way to keep you stomach full and your body full of nutrition to prevent hunger and cravings.

The trick is to simply add a salad to every meal you eat. That is right, breakfast, lunch, and dinner you will add a salad to. Notice that I did not say to replace your meals with a salad, simply to add to your meals. Yes this will increase the calories of your meals but that may not be a bad thing. Eating more calories will reduce cravings and elevate your metabolism.

Also, a fresh vegetable salad is full of vitamins, minerals and fiber. Feeding your body the calories it needs will reduce cravings dramatically and increase energy levels. Fiber fills the stomach, increase satiety (sensation of fullness).

Can you eat a salad with every meal? Even breakfast? Yes you can and it is easier than you think. A great tip I learned from John Berardi is to cut up a ton of vegetables in advance and bag each one individually. Then, when you are ready to eat simply grab a handful from each bag of vegetables and throw it all together.

This may sound simple enough for lunch, dinner and snacks but breakfast is a bit more of a challenge. I find omelets solve the issue pretty nicely. Mix up your eggs then grab a couple of handfuls of veggies and throw them in and cook it up!
