They sound like shirataki noodles. They're OK, kinda slimy and I find best in Asian dishes.

Wow, I just got read the riot act by my 10-year-old. That's his quote to me in the headline.
Since there's no school tomorrow, he is insisting that I get my butt to the gym (if it's open).
Aye-aye, chief.
