Yesterday we went to an international cuisine fair. It was about an hour from our house and we brought my mother with us too. It was actually quite cold and windy there so as soon as we arrived we were excited to find some hot food! I saw this sign for a Nepalese curry and I thought, "There's something I haven't tried before!"

I went over to the stall and took a closer look. Jammed pack full of vegetables and served with rice-I was sold!

I liked that it came in a smallish portion size too. Both the rice and the curry fitted in that little container. It was nice and spicy and pretty filling so I didn't eat a lot of the rice. It was perfect for a cold day and for walking around the stalls with. Here's a pic of my husband and I eating on foot!

As you can see he has a giant steak burger in his hand! He choose something that didn't seem that international! But it definitely was comforting! Here's a pic of what I DID NOT eat!

The fair was actually at an outlet mall and there was a Nike Factory Store there! Oh how I love me a Nike Factory Store! I am for sure a Nike girl. Nothing but Nike cuts it for me-just a personal preference! So of course I couldn't go home without checking it out. I was surprised to find not one but two pairs of shoes that I wanted.
I love this style of shoe. They are like Nike Mary
Janes or something. I already have one pair that I bought in CA for about $80 so I was thrilled to find two pairs for a total of about $60! I got one white pair...

...and one black pair that has a little design on 'em. I love to wear my old pair whilst walking or running errands but they were grey so didn't always go with my outfit so I am SUPER excited to have both a black and white pair to choose from now! AND they were a bargain! (Apologies for the poor lighting in these pics)

I had a lot of fun yesterday! When we came home we all had dinner and played a game of scrabble with my Mom. I didn't win! Today I just plan to stay at home, read some blogs, make home cooked meals and NOT worry about my weigh in at WW tomorrow!
