One step that I took at the start of my fat loss journey was when I took all my calories out of what I was drinking. I stopped drinking soda and milk and sugar were never to grace my mug again, I also put an end to my monkey phase and stopped making my banana smoothies.
When you do this it will permit you to have more fun with what you are eating.
Now the worst thing you could do is go all commando and try to cut all calories out of your diet right way.
Team Discipline or Regret is all about making small, consistent changes that will lead to big results. It is also about the slow healthy progress that makes for permanent results.
Ok back to the point, remember that you can’t just dump old habits you need to replace them with new ones, this gives you a goal to focus on so you are not focusing on what you are losing so much.
Maybe for the next two weeks or even for a month you can focus on removing soda from your choice of drink.
Find another drink that you can use to replace your soda with; green tea, coffee, tea, water, etc.
What I did was in between meals and snacks I would just drink water and then at meal times I would start with water and then have something else, maybe some green tea.
Ok there is not much to this, but that doesn’t make it easy!
