Getting started

Start small!

Begin with 10-20 minutes of exercise, then build up in 10 minute increments as you gain stamina.

Preventing injury

Stretch after warming up

Stretch for 5 - 10 minutes after warming up for 15 minutes.

Technique

Warm up

Begin your walk with a 5 - 10 minute warm up at a slow pace. Stop and stretch once you're warmed up.

Lean back

If you lean forward, the bow will go under, and the result will not be pretty as you go under too.

For beginners

Warm up!

Don't forget to do a 5 - 10 minute cardio warm up before strength training to get your heart pumping and increase the flexibility in your muscles.

Pick your exercise

Try interval training

Do bursts of vigorous or intense activity for 2-3 minutes, followed by 3-4 minutes of moderate activity. Repeat.
