American Women At War - Memorial and Reality

At the annual Veterans Day ceremony yesterday in front of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.,the focus was on the role of women in war, notes The Washington Post. It was the 15th anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Memorial, a bronze tableau of three women treating a wounded soldier just up the slope from Maya Lin's Wall.
