heavy bleeding and the morning after pill

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, worried I took the plan B pill that next morning.  It's been 6 days since I took the pills I've been bleeding really heavily, soaking the middle of a pad completely.  After I took the pill my boyfriend had fingered me.  I started bleeding from that, but didn't know if this could be because of the pills.  I've read that my next period can come early/late and heavy/light, but I shouldn't be starting my period for another 2 weeks.  Could this be either a side effect of the plan B or my period that happens to be super early and heavy, or do I need to go to my doctor?  Any answer would be much appriciated.  Thank you.
