is there a treatment for the symptoms of polycistic ovaries without getting pregnant???

Posted by corrinnexxx

Hi, i wanted to know if there is any way of reliving the symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome, such as bad skin, excess hair ect?

I already have 4 children so problems concieving has not been one of the symptoms that i suffer with PCOS.

I was diagnosed with it about 6 yrs ago, and have had all of the symptoms (apart from the conception problems) ever since....i went to see my GP 3 months ago after a heavy bleeding episode that lasted 3 weeks, he told me it was all to do with my PCOS and he could treat it if i wanted to get pregnant, with clomid (i think thats what its called)....as mentioned though, i dont wish to get pregnant again but i want to know if i can have some other treatment to help with the bad skin and excess hair?

Gp told me to just leave it be because i didnt want to concieve....it is driving me mad having the hair growth though and i am sick to death of my daily routine of waxing tweezing and exfoliating (it makes me late for everything!!) is there anything else i can try??

:)
